Every article on BoyX News is researched, written and edited by Shubham. There is no content team and no outside contributors — if a page carries a byline on this site, it is mine.
What I Write About
Mostly the questions people are actually asking during a news event, rather than the event report itself. That means explainers: what an official term means, how a rule works, what a number is really measuring, and what a story does or does not mean for an ordinary reader.
In practice that clusters into weather and public-safety alerts, money and consumer rights, US sports rules and transactions, and entertainment.
How I Work
- Primary sources first. Where an official body publishes the thing being explained — the National Weather Service, the EPA, MLB, the CDC, a court ruling, a company filing — that is what I read and cite, not another article about it.
- Every figure is attributed. If a number appears on this site, the source note at the foot of the article says where it came from.
- Nothing is invented. If a fact cannot be verified, it does not go in. Where reporting conflicts, I say so instead of picking the more convenient version.
- Uncertainty is stated plainly. Projections are labelled as projections, and reported figures are labelled as reported.
- Photographs are labelled honestly. Illustrative images are described as illustrative, and composites are described as composites.
What This Site Does Not Do
- No medical, legal, financial or tax advice. Health and money pages are general information and say so.
- No pages built on the private life or misfortune of a person who is not a public figure.
- No speculation dressed as reporting.
