Coco Gauff is back on court at Wimbledon 2026 today, Friday, July 3 — two days after surviving one of the scariest moments of her season, when she stood two points from a second-round exit before roaring back in a third-set tiebreak. Here's who she's playing today, how to follow the live score, plus quick answers on her boyfriend, ranking, net worth, age and coach.
Who Is Coco Gauff Playing Today? Jessica Pegula — an All-American Quarterfinal
Updated July 7: Gauff, the No. 7 seed, has reached the Wimbledon quarterfinals and faces fellow American Jessica Pegula today (day nine, July 7), per the official order of play. It is an all-American quarterfinal — a guaranteed US semifinalist — and a rematch of teammates who know each other from years of USTA and doubles duty.
Earlier in the tournament Gauff beat Claire Liu in the third round. Wimbledon remains the one Grand Slam where Gauff has yet to reach a final — she has admitted she is still “figuring out” grass — while Pegula brings the steadier grass resume this fortnight. Winner gets a shot at the semifinals on Thursday.

Who Is Coco Gauff's Boyfriend?
Gauff's boyfriend is Jalen Sera, an Atlanta-based artist, musician and aspiring actor, according to reports from Heavy Sports and Pro Football Network. The two have reportedly been together since around 2023, and Gauff went public with the relationship on social media in 2025 after keeping his name private for over a year.
Sera is not from the tennis or sports world — something Gauff has reportedly valued as a break from tour life.
