- The Disney+ argument: because of Sony’s licensing agreements with Disney, every previous Tom Holland Spider-Man film has arrived on Disney+ after its theatrical and PVOD runs. Precedent says Disney+.
Both are true at once, which is why reputable outlets are publishing different answers. Precedent points to Disney+; the standing Sony deal is why nobody will say it flatly.
