CM Punk retained the Undisputed WWE Championship over Cody Rhodes in a near-30-minute match - decided when Randy Orton returned and hit Rhodes with an RKO, letting Punk finish with his fifth GTS.
• Hell in a Cell: Oba Femi beat Brock Lesnar - a deliberate torch-passing.
• Liv Morgan (c) beat Iyo Sky for the Women’s World Championship.
• LA Knight, Solo Sikoa and Royce Keys beat The Bloodline (The Usos & Jacob Fatu).
Night 2 is tonight, Sunday August 2 - 8:00 p.m. ET, U.S. Bank Stadium, on ESPN in the US and Netflix internationally. Roman Reigns headlines.
SummerSlam is a week away, and the single most common question about it this year is not about the card. It is where do I actually watch this now? — because the answer changed.
Where to Watch
| United States | ESPN Unlimited |
| International | Netflix |
If you have watched WWE premium live events in the US for the last few years, you looked for them somewhere else. That is the source of most of the confusion this week: the US home is now ESPN, while the rest of the world watches on Netflix. Same show, two different platforms, decided by where you are.
Dates and Start Time
| Night | Date | Start |
|---|---|---|
| Night 1 | Saturday, August 1, 2026 | 6:00 p.m. ET / 3:00 p.m. PT |
| Night 2 | Sunday, August 2, 2026 | 6:00 p.m. ET / 3:00 p.m. PT |
Note the start: 6:00 p.m. ET is earlier than a traditional 8:00 p.m. pay-per-view slot — if you turn on at eight expecting the opener, you will already be two matches in.
The Venue
U.S. Bank Stadium, Minneapolis — the Minnesota Vikings’ indoor home. A roofed stadium matters for a two-night August event: no weather risk, and the production can be built once and run twice.
